Tween/Teen volunteers have been an important part of our summer reading programs, In 2023, we will be asking you to help in a number of ways. Our 2023 summer reading program offers a wide range of community service opportunities. From cleaning and assisting in programs to light gardening, there are all sorts of services to try. Let us know what you are most interested in, and let's work together this summer!

Tween/Teen ReadingThe Glocester Libraries offers a wide range of fiction and non-fiction titles for young adult readers. Whether you like graphic novels, audio books, or hardcover books, you will find your interests covered at the libraries.
If there is a title that is not available, we are happy to order it for you from another library and have it delivered to your home library. Teen Reading Choices

Tween/Teen Craft ProgramsTeen programs focus on Tweens and Teens' interests and develop a love of reading, They enhance an interest in the arts and sciences and provide a safe haven for social interaction and community service.
Teen Jar Craft
Monday, June 26, 5 p.m., Harmony Library Age Level: Ages 11 and up Join us to make a fun jar craft! What will we make? The possibilities are endless. Safe Sitters Class Wednesday, June 28, 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Glocester Manton Library Age Level: Ages 11 to 14 Learn about important babysitting topics such as CPR, behavior management, injury prevention, and babysitting as a business. Registration is required, as well as a $50 check to Miriam Hospital and a signed registration and student contract form upon the start of class. This will be emailed to you prior to the class. Note: Bring a lunch. |
