Cookbook Club
Cookbook Club
Monday, June 6, 6 p.m., Harmony Library Our June meeting will feature the book Everyday Dorie: The Way I Cook by Dorie Greenspan. The author, who gave up working on a doctorate in gerontology to bake cookies in a basement restaurant kitchen, went on to win five James Beard Awards and write fourteen cookbooks. This is how the club works: every month, pick up a copy of that month's cookbook selection at the Harmony Library. Choose a recipe to make and prepare it for the next month's meeting. We will sample each other's dishes and discuss our cooking experiences. If you would like to join the Cookbook Club, register below and then drop by the library to pick up a copy of the book.
