Join the Glocester Libraries in our Teen Summer Reading Challenge!

Teen Summer Reading Program
 ★ 2021 Reading Challenge ★

Between June 21st and July 30th, readers can fill out a Teen Reading Card for every book they read. Drop off your card at your home library to receive a small prize! At the end of the summer you could be one of two lucky winners of a $20 Amazon gift card! The more cards you fill out, the better your chances!

Come in and grab a weekly prize!

Safe Sitters Class
Wednesday, July 7, 9 a.m - 2:30 p.m
Glocester Manton Library
Age Level: Ages 11 to 14
Youth interested in becoming safe childcare workers and babysitters can attend this class to learn the basics of childcare safety. Topics covered will be babysitting as a business, injury prevention, safety for the sitter, CPR, and other childcare essentials.
Note: to attend this class you must register and bring $50 check payable to the Miriam Hospital upon arriving for the program. Please bring a lunch.

Teen Bookend Challenge
Friday, July 16 - during library hours
Glocester Manton Library
Age Level: Ages 12 and up
Stop by the Glocester Manton Library to pick up a bookend and art supplies needed to decorate it using this years summer reading theme. Bring your bookend back by July 23rd and the winner of a $20 Amazon gift card will be chosen on the last day of summer reading!

Ice Tie Dye
Wednesday, July 14, 2 p.m
Harmony Library
Age Level: Ages 10 and up
Bring a white or light colored tee shirt for some "cool" tie dyeing fun. This is a messy outdoor program, so please dress accordingly.
Note: Rain date is Wednesday, July 21.
